Fractional sales leadership, with the team that builds your pipeline
Forte Growth gives UK B2B companies senior sales leadership and the team to build and run their pipeline. Alper Yurder, a three-time CRO and co-founder of Flowla, leads the work, from the message and prospect list to follow-up, CRM and sales reporting.
What does a fractional sales leader do?
A fractional sales leader owns the sales plan for an agreed part of the week. They decide who to sell to, how to reach them, what counts as a qualified opportunity and how the team moves a deal forward.
At Forte Growth, that includes the work behind the plan: prospect research, messages, outbound, LinkedIn, follow-up and the CRM. You get a weekly view of activity, replies, meetings and opportunities, so the next decision comes from what buyers actually do.
Why hire one instead of a full-time sales director?
Fractional leadership suits a company that needs senior judgement and execution before committing to a permanent hire. The engagement gives the next hire a working sales process, documented messages, a usable CRM and evidence about which channels produce opportunities.
For comparison, 3Search's 2026 salary guide lists a UK sales director base salary of £80,000 to £150,000 a year. Employer National Insurance, pension contributions, commission and recruitment costs sit on top. That is a salary benchmark, not a Forte fee or a like-for-like quote for a delivery team.
Who does the work alongside the sales leader?
Forte Growth supplies the team that carries out the plan. Alper leads the commercial decisions; the team builds the lists, writes and runs campaigns, follows up and keeps the reporting current. Sales and marketing run from the same plan.
You can see the wider scope on our outsourced marketing department page. The starting point is the work your company needs and the people you already have.
Who is fractional sales leadership for?
It suits founder-led B2B companies where the founder still closes the important deals, established businesses that have grown through referrals, and agencies or professional services firms that need a repeatable way to find their next clients.
It can also support an existing sales team that lacks the lists, messages or marketing support to keep its pipeline moving. If you already have a full sales and marketing team with clear ownership and a working pipeline, the brief may call for a narrower piece of work.
What experience does Forte bring?
Alper Yurder has been a CRO three times, closed more than $60M in revenue across his career and co-founded Flowla. Those are his own career credentials.
Forte Growth's client results are separate: OMMA built £500K of pipeline in four months; Wealt built £750K of pipeline from 200 prospects; and Wyzr booked 17 calls in under 30 days of outreach. Pipeline is potential business, not closed revenue. These results describe those engagements, rather than a promise for every company.
How does the engagement start?
We start with an audit of your pipeline, message, channels and sales process. The audit counts towards the engagement fee. We agree the priorities, who owns each part and what the weekly report will show before building and running the work.
You own the lists, copy, systems and learning. The work can pass to your internal team when you are ready to hire.
Fractional sales leadership FAQs
How many days a month will we work together?
We agree the time and responsibilities around your sales cycle and the work to be done. The scope includes a named leader and delivery capacity, with a weekly review.
Can you work alongside our existing sales team?
Yes. We agree who owns targeting, prospecting, follow-up and closing. Your team keeps its customer relationships, while Forte builds and runs the parts of the pipeline that need support.
Do you work on commission?
No. We work on a fixed fee, so our time goes into building your pipeline rather than chasing the deals we're paid on. Engagements usually start with an audit, which counts towards the fee.
How quickly will we see pipeline?
We aim to get outbound live inside three weeks. Meetings and opportunities depend on the audience, offer and sales cycle. The weekly report separates activity, replies, meetings and pipeline so you can see what is changing.
What happens when we hire a full-time sales leader?
We hand over the sales process, campaign history, CRM and reporting to the new leader. We agree any continuing delivery support as part of that transition.
