FORTE · OUTSOURCED MARKETING DEPARTMENT

We need a marketing department, not five new hires. Can we outsource it?

Yes, if you outsource the whole function and not one channel. Forte Growth takes over a B2B company's go to market and marketing, builds it, improves it and runs it, with outbound live in week three. At Wyzr, the motion Forte took over produced 17 booked calls and 53 interested leads in under 30 days of outreach. An outsourced marketing department is judged by the pipeline it produces, not the activity it reports.

What is an outsourced marketing department?

It is an outside team that does the work an in-house marketing department would do: deciding who to sell to and what to say, running the campaigns, publishing the content, keeping the pipeline moving and reporting on it. Outsourcing one task, such as ads or a newsletter, is not the same thing. The department version owns the whole motion and the result it is meant to produce.

Forte Growth works this way. It takes over a company's go to market and marketing, builds what is missing, improves it on what the market says and runs it every week.

What does an outsourced marketing team actually do?

At Forte Growth the work covers outbound and lead generation, inbound and content, founder brand, sales process and CRM, automations, weekly improvement, visible reporting, and documentation and handover. It is one system, so a buyer who replies to a message finds proof, content and a follow-up process behind it.

The Forte team does the work: campaigns are built and run, content is written, the CRM is configured and the operating rhythm is managed. It is not a plan handed to your team to execute. The full list is on What do you actually get? The full list of deliverables.

Who is an outsourced marketing department right for?

B2B companies that have revenue and real customer cases but whose growth still depends on the founder, referrals or a warm network. Most B2B companies stall somewhere between £500K and £5M, when the introductions that built the business stop being enough. Most of the companies Forte Growth works with are between £2M and £10M in revenue.

The usual signs: every deal still goes through the founder, lead generation has good months nobody can explain, or the founder would rather be on product than running go to market.

Outsourced marketing department vs agency: what is the difference?

An agency usually sells activity in one channel, and it is the right choice when the plan is settled and you need more capacity in that channel. An outsourced marketing department owns the wider commercial motion: the offer, segments, outbound, content, follow-up and CRM, run as one. At Forte Growth the systems stay inside your company.

Outsourcing marketing vs hiring an in-house team: which costs more?

As a worked example, a full in-house team of five, a Head of Marketing, growth marketer, content lead, SDR and marketing operations, comes to around £250,000 a year in UK base salary. Not every company needs all five roles. For comparable roles at London companies with 50 to 250 staff, Robert Walters' UK Salary Survey 2026 gives £224,000 to £376,000. That is before employer National Insurance, pension, SDR commission and recruitment fees, and before months of recruiting and ramp-up.

Forte Growth does not publish a price. The fee is agreed on the first call against the scope. Hiring is the better answer once the offer, segment and sales process already repeat, and a future hire then inherits live campaigns, documented processes and accumulated learning. The full breakdown is on What does an in-house marketing team actually cost per year in the UK?

How quickly does an outsourced marketing department start producing?

With Forte Growth, week one sets the commercial target, week two prepares the lists, messages, content, CRM stages and follow-up, and outbound goes live in week three. From then on campaigns are tested, rewritten and reviewed every week, and the campaigns, priorities and results sit in one workspace across a 16-week sprint.

What results has Forte Growth delivered as an outsourced marketing department?

At Wyzr, Forte Growth took over the go to market, built it, improved it and ran it: 17 booked calls and 53 interested leads in under 30 days of outreach, from a standing start. At OMMA, demos went from none to fifteen a month in eight weeks, and pipeline reached £500K in four months. For SolvaPay, outreach Forte ran before Nordic Fintech Week in September 2026 booked 30 meetings before the event opened.

What still sits with our team if we outsource marketing?

The calls only the company can make: the growth target, the offer, sign-off on anything published under the founder's name, and the sales conversations themselves. Forte Growth runs the rest, and you see it in the client portal every week. Forte can take over the whole go to market and marketing operation, or only the missing and underperforming parts, working with your founder, sales team or existing marketer.

Who does the work at Forte Growth?

The Forte team does the work alongside Alper Yurder, who founded Forte Growth. Alper has fifteen years in B2B go to market, three CRO roles, one IPO, one exit and over $60M in revenue closed, and co-founded Flowla, which reached £1M ARR with nothing spent on paid ads.

When is outsourcing marketing the wrong choice?

When you only want sending. A buyer receives a message, then checks the founder, website, proof and case studies before replying, so Forte Growth runs outbound and inbound together. A company that wants volume in one channel is better served by a specialist.

It is also the wrong choice when the system already works and the job is to do more of something proven. That is when to hire.

What happens at the end of an outsourced marketing engagement?

Two endings are normal. You take it in-house, and your hire inherits a working system, documentation and the learning so far. Or you keep Forte Growth running it with your team. Either way the campaigns, content, CRM structure, automations and documentation stay with the company.
